  • Management reserves the right to revoke any special offer or discount without notice
  • Failure to provide proof of double vaccination will result in entry being refused
  • Any unaccompanied minors (under 18) will be refused entry to the venue
  • Any minors must be fully supervised by a parent and must vacate the premises by 10pm

Events Terms & Conditions

Ticket purchase and entry to Salt House for an event are subject to the following conditions. The term “event” within these conditions includes reference to the area set aside for the event and any activities that take place in the duration of the event. The event organiser is Salt House Pty Ltd (“The Organiser”). The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to or eject from the event any person who does not comply with any of the conditions below.

  1. Admission
    a. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to any person, including any person holding a valid ticket, for reasonable cause, without notice.
    b. Entrants must comply with all directions given by The Organiser, including any directions to leave the event.2. Change of Program
    The Organiser reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, attractions and amenities and to vary programs, seating arrangements, and audience capacity of the event.

    3. Recording, Transmission and Exhibition
    Entrants grant permission to The Organiser to use their name, image, likeness, or statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at the event without further authorisation from, or compensation to the Entrant.

    4. Offensive Behaviour
    Entrants will not conduct themselves in a manner that is inappropriate, offensive to others, or illegal. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to or eject a person who conducts themselves in such a manner.

    5. Alcohol
    a. The event is licensed to provide alcohol. Entrants must not bring alcohol into the event.
    b. Entrants who are under 18 years of age (“minors”) will only be permitted entry to the permitted area if accompanied by a responsible adult who is responsible for the care and supervision of the minor whilst in the permitted area.
    c. An Entrant who is 18 years or over may be given on entry to the event a wrist band to identify that they are permitted to drink alcohol at the event. Any person wishing to drink alcohol at the event may be required to provide a driver’s licence, current passport or proof of age card.
    d. Any minor found drinking alcohol may, in The Organiser’s sole discretion, be refused entry to or ejected from the event.
    e. Any person supplying alcohol to a minor or any person deemed to be assisting or contributing to the supply of alcohol to a minor may, in The Organiser’s sole discretion, be refused entry to or ejected from the event.
    f. Any person who is deemed to be adversely affected by the consumption of alcohol or affected by the consumption of drugs may, in The Organiser’s sole discretion, be refused entry to or ejected from the event.
    g. Any person who is deemed to be unduly intoxicated or disorderly will, in The Organiser’s sole discretion, not be sold any alcohol or provided with alcohol for consumption and may be refused entry to or ejected from the event.

    6. Ticketing and Non-refund Policy
    a. Tickets are sold on the condition that purchasers are not entitled to a refund or exchange of their ticket. This non-refund policy applies in circumstances including, for example:
    i. If you choose not to attend the event.
    ii. If you are unable to attend the event for any reason.
    iii. If you attend the event and are unsatisfied.
    iv. If the program of the event is changed, or any parts of the event.
    v. If any part, or all, of the event is cancelled due to weather or on any reasonable basis, or any cause outside the control of The Organiser.
    vi. If you lose your ticket or do not bring your ticket to the event.
    vii. If you are refused entry or ejected for any reason in accordance with the Conditions of Sale of Tickets and Entry.
    viii.. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any person producing a duplicated or altered ticket.

    7. Children
    All children aged under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible parent or legal guardian at any event.

Function Terms & Conditions

  • Final guest numbers to be confirmed no less than 72 hours (3 business days) prior to the commencement of the function.
  • The confirmed number will the minimum number charged.
  • Function charges must be paid in full 1 week prior to the event unless credit facilities have been setup in advance.
  • Any deposit is non-refundable and will contribute to the total cost of the function.
  • Confirmation of the function will only occur upon receipt of deposit by Salt House. The date will not be held without payment of the deposit.
  • Any reserved space is available to the client until 9pm on the night of the function (unless otherwise discussed and detailed on the event order), after which time it may be necessary to release the area to other patrons
  • If the party numbers drop on the day, Salt House reserves the right to reduce the size of the space reserved accordingly
  • No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into the Salt House for consumption at the function by the Client or any the Client’s guests, invitees or person attending the function. Failure to adhere to this provision may result in the removal of the Client and guests from the premises and could result in fines in accordance with the Queensland Liquor License Act 1992
  • No provision is made for signage, theming or decorations. This can be arranged at an additional cost.
  • Any decorations organized must be removed on the night or by 12pm the following day.
  • No confetti or confetti filled balloons permitted at Salt House.
  • No responsibility is taken for any items left overnight at the venue
  • A cakeage of $2.50pp will apply to all external cakes. Cakes can be arranged via Salt House if required
  • Any guests under 18 must be accompanied by their parent and must vacate the premises by 10pm
  • Unaccompanied minors will be refused entry to the venue.
  • Guests agree to enjoy beverages at Salt House in a responsible. If any employee deems behaviour inappropriate, we reserve the right to revoke any remaining beverages and offer no refunds for doing so.
  • The Salt House reserves the right to assign another area for the organised function in the event the area originally designated for such function shall be unavailable or inappropriate in the opinion of the Salt House. If the Salt House has reason to believe that a function will affect the smooth running of the Bar and Restaurant business, its security or reputation, it reserves the right to cancel the Event without liability.
  • All guests be must double vaccinated and show proof of vaccination prior to entry as per current COVID mandates. Failure to show valid proof of vaccination will result in denial of entry.
