Long Weekend Party

Come down and join us celebrating the King’s Birthday with the last long weekend of the year!

Whilst we don’t need to excuse to throw a party, an extra day off seems like a great reason. The festivities will place on 4th and 5th October from 3pm until late.

Our ‘teepee’ barbecue will be back with our chefs creating delicious dishes alongside our bar tapas and pizza menu. Enjoy your favourite cocktails from our pop-up bar while watching the sun set over the marina.

It will be a weekend of fun with live music so please come with your best dancing shoes because we will want to see you on the dance floor.

Cairns Italian Festival comes to Salt House

Experience the charm of an Italian farmhouse at Salt House with a four-course feast, Festa del Raccolto, featuring classic dishes made with farm-fresh ingredients from your local Italian-Australian farmers. Served with fine Italian wines, this authentic dining experience celebrates the rich flavors of Italy’s countryside. The tables and menu are family style allowing old friends to meet up and new friends to be made.

Celebrate The Exclusive Cairns Launch of Larry's New Whisky

Join us for a night with Larry Emdur, to celebrate the launch of his new Whisky, The Ben Buckler.

Attendees will experience an exclusive evening of whisky tasting and bbq food pairings, as well as being some of the first to taste two new Ben Buckler cocktails.

The night will be hosted by award-winning Australian TV star and the mastermind behind the new single malt whisky, Larry Emdur.

The evening starts at 6pm on Saturday 10th May 2025. Tickets $79 per person.

18 hours smoked brisket roll

Brioche roll, slaw salad, pulled brisket, Ben buckler BBQ sauce.

12 hours “San Luis” Smoked pork ribs

White Alabama Ben Buckler BBQ sauce, sliced spring onion, fried garlic, mesclun.

Grilled giant tiger prawns 

Flamed with Ben Buckler whiskey, furikake, and seaweed mayonnaise.

Join us for the ultimate recovery party!

Featuring Cairns best vinyl DJs on the deck from 12pm.

Spinning the decks will be Todd Skipper, DJ JC, Bryan Bergman, DJ Cilla & DJ Ro.

As you soak in the picturesque surroundings, savor our exclusive Father’s Day specials, thoughtfully crafted by our Executive Chef, Julian Hernandez, to elevate your dining experience. Plus, our à la carte and children’s menus ensure that even the youngest members of the family have delicious options to choose from.

New York strip steak and bugs 250g $48, basted in Nduja butter, Hasselback potatoes, Moreton bay bug topper, red wine jus

San Louis Pork ribs $46, smoked whisky BBQ sauce, sweet potato wedges, green papaya salad

Cajun chicken and chorizo paella $46, green peas, sofrito, saffron rice, roasted tomato, aioli

Raising money for Charity

Charity Trivia Night at Salt House!

Join us for a night of fun and facts at our Charity Trivia Night.

Bring the gang and get competitive, as this is a great chance to connect with like-minded “Cairnsiders” as you test your wits, all while supporting those in need.

All money raised goes directly to charity and this month we are proudly supporting COUCH Cancer Hub NQ – with nearly 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, COUCH is changing how our community experiences cancer care. COUCH Cancer Hub NQ is dedicated to supporting people impacted by cancer and improving quality of life.
